The university flag will be lowered on Apr. 27 in honour of Rebecca Warburton.

Warburton was an expert in health economics and Professor Emeritus with the School of Public Administration.

In addition to a full career in collaborative health-related research, Warburton played an important role in university governance and administration, serving in the executive of the UVic Faculty Association and on Senate for several years. She was a well-respected scholar in public administration and a tireless support for her students.
