Home / Campus & community / University flag to be lowered for National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women

The university flag will be lowered on Friday, Dec. 6 to mark the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women.

On Dec. 6, we remember the murder of 14 young women at Polytechnique Montréal 30 years ago. It’s an opportunity to reflect on this tragedy, and to reaffirm our commitment to fight the hatred and misogyny that still exists today.
